Heart & Soul Therapy

  • Supportive Therapy

In working with clients, I utilize concepts from many traditional psychological disciplines including behavioral, relational, transpersonal, self, and psychodynamic therapy. I also draw upon my extensive knowledge of holistic health, consciousness, mind/body/soul connection, mindfulness, reincarnation, psychospiritual experiences, and other areas.

Together, clients and I explore how events and relationships from their past and present impact who they have become and how they feel. I help people learn to understand, accept, and like themselves more by offering validation, exploring a larger perspective, and by releasing judgments, trauma, fear, and limiting beliefs.

Talk-based therapy with a respectful, intuitive, and deeply empathic therapist can help foster self-awareness, insight, and direction. Many clients have told me that my caring, gentle, down-to-earth nature coupled with my extensive training have had a profoundly positive impact on their lives.

  • Energy Psychology

Energy Psychology is a family of mind-body approaches used to identify and clear negative emotions and beliefs associated with stressful life events. Energy Psychology Approaches such as EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique by founder Gary Craig) and TFT (Thought Field Therapy by founder Dr. Roger Callahan ), are fast, easy-to-learn methods for releasing painful emotions and for installing more positive thoughts. Children as well as adults can learn these tools to help themselves heal, manage stress, focus, feel more at peace, and feel more in control of their thoughts, emotions, and behavior.

In utilizing individualized adaptations of these techniques, I help my clients to relax and focus on specific distressing symptoms, thoughts, or memories. Acting as a model, I guide clients to activate energy points on their own body. This activation appears to stimulate natural healing and processing. We continue this process and explore different associations and aspects of the distress until the client reports feeling a sense of change or relief. Clients frequently report feeling less burdened by negative emotions and thoughts within the first session.

  • Past-Life Regression

Past-Life Regression (PLR) is much more than just a method for recalling forgotten scenarios from past-lives. It is an exciting doorway to better understand and heal negative thoughts and beliefs that you currently hold and that are impacting your life today. On a simple level, PLR is an imagery exercise that is usually pleasant and very relaxing. On a more complex level, PLR can help you heal emotional and physical symptoms, shed light on patterns in relationships, and feel more connected to your immortal soul identity.

  • Quantum Healing Hypnosis Therapy

Quantum Healing Hypnosis Therapy (QHHT) is a technique developed by Dolores Cannon, a globally-known hypnotherapist, healer, author, trainer and speaker.  During QHHT, I utilize Dolores’ protocol for accessing past lives and the “subconscious” or Higher Self to discover answers to questions you may have about your relationships, physical/emotional symptoms, and life purpose. Many people have reported astonishing emotional and physical healing when working with their Higher Self in this way.

  • Soul-based Therapy

Soul-based therapy is for clients who are hoping to find deeper meaning in their life. Learning about psychospiritual concepts such as life purpose, karma, reincarnation, manifesting, the afterlife, etc. can provide a wider perspective to understanding the context and content of their current life. Adopting the belief that everything is unfolding for your highest good and that perhaps, you planned many of the challenges in your life, can greatly enhance coping and a sense of well-being.

  • Imagery/Meditation/Relaxation

Imagery, meditation and relaxation are wonderful tools to expand your awareness and nurture your relationship with yourself. When you practice any or all of them, you embark on a powerful path to finding answers and healing.

I teach clients a variety of ways to let go of stress, become more grounded, develop “safe places of healing” within one’s mind, and cultivate inner peace.
